Project Overview
KBB & Associates collaborated with luxury real estate developer Kindle Martin to develop a sophisticated executive home office for her client, Kenji Williams, a finance professional seeking a workspace that reflected his professional identity while providing comfort, functionality, and architectural character.
The existing room featured neutral walls, light flooring, a prominent bay window, and an elongated layout with limited architectural detailing. Although the space offered generous natural light and a flexible footprint, it lacked the visual identity, purposeful organization, and refined atmosphere envisioned for a private executive workspace.
Our team developed a comprehensive 3D virtual renovation concept that transformed the understated interior into a distinctive, professionally inspired environment. The proposed design introduced rich blue-gray walls, a contrasting deep brown accent wall, and warm wood finishes that established a sophisticated, masculine aesthetic while preserving the room's openness.
A substantial wood executive desk served as the primary workspace, complemented by a cognac leather office chair, contemporary pendant lighting, and carefully selected accessories. Along the feature wall, we incorporated an expansive shelving installation with integrated fireplace, providing generous display space for books and decorative objects while creating a compelling architectural focal point.
The room's existing bay window was reimagined as an intimate seating area featuring two navy leather chairs, a sculptural side table, and a soft area rug. This secondary zone introduced flexibility for informal conversations, client meetings, and moments of relaxation without compromising the functionality of the primary workspace.
Additional architectural enhancements included modern barn-style doors, black-framed glass doors, and coordinated lighting elements. The existing light-toned flooring was retained to provide contrast against the richer wall treatments and furnishings, maintaining visual balance throughout the space.
Through photorealistic 3D visualizations, KBB presented the proposed renovation from multiple perspectives, communicating furniture scale, spatial organization, architectural details, material relationships, and lighting conditions. These visual assets enabled the developer and homeowner to evaluate the design concept and understand how the existing room could function as a sophisticated executive environment before construction.
The completed visualization package established a cohesive design direction that combined professional sophistication with residential comfort, translating the client's functional requirements and aesthetic preferences into a clearly defined interior concept.
This project demonstrates KBB's ability to support developers and private clients through visualization-led interior transformations, creating detailed visual representations that clarify design intent, communicate material selections, and support informed decisions before construction. The same principles of spatial planning, visual coordination, and design communication extend naturally to corporate offices, executive suites, and other professional environments.
